Three reasons to standardize Door Supervisor, FPOS and Bodyguard Training
Posted: Oct 07, 2013
While parliament has yet to require door supervisor training, FPOS training and bodyguard training to be standardized, there is good reason to push standardization. For one, standardization would mean training would be the same across the board for door supervisors, bodyguards and bouncers. Having standardized courses would mean door supervisor training courses, FPOS training and bodyguard training would all teach the same things.
Standardization would allow a set of minimums to be taught in regards to bodyguard training, door supervisor training and FPOS training. This would allow parliament to hold companies accountable for not teaching employees the standard requirements. This also may make it easier for employees by having standardized training. They would not have to compare the quality of Security Company to Security Company.
Holding businesses accountable for door supervisor training and FPOS training
By holding businesses accountable, parliament can also rest assured door supervisor training and FPOS training are correctly administered. By having standardization, lawmakers can hold business heads accountable for not following laws or deviating from guidelines. By having standardized training bodyguards can learn the same practices regardless of what security company they use. It may also lower the cost of training by having standardized courses.
Standardization may also spread the cost of improvements needed to better door supervisor training, FPOS training, and bodyguard training for all companies who are required to participate. By spreading out the costs, many businesses do not have to foot the high cost of a revamping of their course studies or having to pay for the cost of improvements for courses all by themselves.
Door supervisor training, FPOS training, and bodyguard training depends on Accountability
By having standardization, this may also encourage employees who undergo FPOS training, door supervisor training and bodyguard training to feel more comfortable in reporting abuses to government officials.
This is why standardization of door supervisor training, FPOS training, bodyguard training may lead itself to becoming standard and also lower costs to participants because of increased support for standardization and the same courses may lower the cost to participate in FPOS training, bodyguard training and door supervisor training. This is why it may be a good day to standardize.
