Top 5 Infrastructure Projects In Delhi NCR To Look Forward To

Delhi and its surrounding towns are some of the primary locations in India for real estate. You will find many people investing their hard-earned money in new apartments and bungalows in and around New Delhi. There are several reasons behind the rise in the population and real estate in Delhi NCR, which include Ghaziabad, Gurgaon and Noida. One of these reasons include growth of infrastructure, which include better roads, flyovers, and underpasses. Other reasons include better communication systems and improved planning for the entire city.

There are several new infrastructure projects coming up in Delhi NCR. 5 of these have been discussed below for your knowledge.

Bridge On Yamuna River

Delhi Metro is planning a bridge over Yamuna River of a total stretch of 574m from Kalindi Kunj to Okhla Bird Sanctuary Metro Station. This bridge will be connecting Delhi with Noida and is said to be one of its kind. Water is released from the barrage in short intervals every 3 to 4 hours. In order to complete the work on the bridge on time, the area has also been evacuated.

Elevated National Highway

A 10.3 km elevated National Highway comprising of a total of 6 lanes will be constructed between Meerut and Delhi. It will basically connect Raj Nagar Extension and UP Gate, and thus ease traffic from Meerut all the way to Delhi. This longest elevated highway will reduce travelling time between the two cities considerably.

Extension Of Dwarka-Noida City Centre Corridor

Delhi Metro is thinking about extending the existing Dwarka-Noida City Center corridor all the way to Sector 62. This is good news for people planning to buy an apartment in Greater Noida or the interiors of Noida. This is said to be one of the longest corridors in the Delhi Metro network. This extension will be passing through sectors 34, 51, 59, as well as, 62.

Rs. 7400 Crore Investment In Noida And Greater Noida

The UP government has proposed an investment of Rs. 7,400 crore for Noida and Greater Noida in order to improve the existing infrastructure of the city and also make some new ones for better living standards for the people. These proposals include 8 new substations in Noida, 8,000 vehicle multi-level car parking facility, a super specialty children’s hospital, and an elevated pedestrian pathway.

Manufacturing Plants To Be Built Around Yamuna Expressway

People of Noida will soon find several major manufacturing plants coming up across vast stretches of land around Yamuna Expressway. Around 12 Japanese, Korean, and Chinese conglomerates are in talks with the Uttar Pradesh Government in this matter.

With such large scale expansion and improvement plans to be put into action, Delhi NCR is expected to soon witness a real estate boom in the coming days. This can prove to be good news for the existing residents and new real estate investors in the city.
