Because of the presence of jewish life many synagogues were constructed in every small settlementfrom the beginning of 20th century. Today 15 are considered within the list of national register of historic places.

  5. D & f italian deli: situated in astoria which is outside of manhattan is an inexpensive d&f italian deli loved for its italian-american dish.
