The heritage city Mysore is believed to come into existence after Maa Chamundi killed Mahishasura. Royalty is displayed in every bit of Mysore. Mysore Maharaja Palace which is commonly known as Mysore Palace was built in 1897. The palace is constructed in Hindu, Islamic, Rajput and Gothic style of architecture. The palace has a mesmerising sight at night.

Chamundi hills the very famous Chamundeshwar temple is located here at the height of 1065 meters and one needs to climb 1000 steps to reach here.

Karanji Lake- While coming down from Chamundi hills, at the foot hill there, lies this Karanji Lake. This park welcomes migratory birds.

Mysore zoo- Mysore has something for everyone. Shri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens houses fauna around the world. Mysore zoo offers a wonderful experience to the visitors, especially kids.

Brindavan Gardens situated below Krishnaraja Sagar dam is very attractive. After sunset, the visitors can enjoy the musical fountain.
