Value-added service (VAS)
VAS is a popular term in the Telemedia Services sector. It is used to refer to the non-core services; those that are beyond fax transmissions and the standard voice calls. Value-added services can also be applied in any other service industry to refer to those services that are offered for free to boost their day-to-day business.
