During the demand for the city elections for New York’s congressional district 13, there will be many candidates, wooing the local residents. These residents comprise of the places in southern district of the state of New York, including densely populated areas of Harlem and Manhattan. While there is a large population, the African American descent percentage is also quite high. There are many issues faced by people in these boroughs of New York but the elections in 2015 for the primaries to the final congressional elections in 2016 will be about improvement, which the candidates from Democratic and Republican parties, as well as other parties will try to fulfill. Hence, they will propose their manifestos and plans from the present elections for primaries, where the candidates will be first finalized, which will then go on to represent the elections of 2016.

  • Seasoned politicians from different backgrounds and neighborhoods of New York in the race

While the background work has already started for the candidates, Mike Gallagher is also putting forth his name for the primaries to be held in the coming months. Having a background from the local Manhattan borough, he is a commoner, who identifies with the issues faced by the local people in and around the congressional district 13 of New York and hence puts forth a big voice in the coming elections. It may be immaterial to him that he is going to be pitched against seasoned politicians like Adam Clayton Powell New York or Clyde Williams from Harlem. But, his strategies are quite well woven with plenty of changes that he proposes to bring about in the wages, taxes, health and infrastructure sectors. But still, it is quite an early stage for him to get happy, because there will be the primaries, in which the democratic representative from this particular seat will be selected.

  • Past fight for the primaries for 13th congressional district had been tough between renowned politicians

It may be that Mike Gallagher gets successful in impressing the locals, but Clyde Williams Charles Rangel have been in the past highly influential and have fought tooth and nail for the primaries. Clyde Williams Harlem went up and down during the primaries across months in the 2012 elections for the 114th Congress, but finally Charles Rangel had the lead. It would be therefore a similar scenario again, when Adam Clayton Powell New York and Clyde Williams Harlem have already defined their candidature from the democrat party for the upcoming primaries. They will have enough strength of previous electioneering, experience and the substantial campaign party behind them to give Mike Gallagher a run for the money.

  • Hard work ahead carved out for Mike Gallagher to convince people about his conviction

At the end, it will be the primaries, which will be deciding the actual Democratic Party representative, who will go for the 2016 congressional 13th district for the Congress. Mike Gallagher will also be doing his homework, along with many of his trusted friends and campaigners. But, his work is carved out for the present primaries, which is to convince the local populations in different boroughs and neighborhoods of the Southern New York to believe his capabilities and remain approving of his manifesto.
