Lasik! ReSTOR! Crystalens! There are a lot of options for vision treatment that many people don't even know about, much less fully understand... But, fortunately, you don't really need to know about every option. The Gainesville Eye Associates are proud to offer a variety of treatment options for vision problems, and here's how this affects you:

Your optometrist has options.

As any medical professional can tell you, the human body is an intricate, complicated, and often very strange creation. Every person is a little bit different, and that means that some medical procedures may not be the best option in every case. The natural problem here is that, well, how do you treat the people who have odd, unusual, or even unique conditions? We've found that the best way to begin is by offering as many treatment methods as possible.

With these in hand, your optometrist has the choice of many techniques, from using lasers to implanting corrective lens. Some techniques are permanent, others get removed before you go to bed, and in rare cases you might even be asked to come back in on a regular basis so that something can be maintained. It's not very common or likely, but it is an option. At each of our Georgia Eye Clinic locations, we have the simple and straightforward goal of providing you with the right solution to your vision problems - whatever those problems might actually be. Vision issues rarely get better if left untreated, and often get worse, so our large variety of treatment options help to ensure that we can give you prompt attention. In fact, we have so many treatment options that many people are referred to us for more specialized care, since the great majority of vision treatment centers don't offer anywhere near as many options as we do.

As for payment... You guessed it, more options. Have we mentioned how much we like those yet? Everything from direct payment plans to financing over time, standard insurance, and aid from a partner for low-income families is an option, depending on your circumstances and ability to pay on your own. This is the other major facet of vision care that we've had to face over time - many people would dearly love to correct a vision problem before it becomes permanent, but they're worried about their ability to actually pay for it. With a wide variety of payment options available, you can rest assured that something should be a good fit for you.

Before you go, though, we do have a few quick disclaimers to add. First, each payment plan has its own terms and conditions, and you should thoroughly review them before agreeing to any one. Second, your optometrist will usually recommend the technique they feel is most suitable for your condition, but that's rarely your only treatment option. Feel free to ask about the risks of that choice and what other options for care you have; you might find something you're more comfortable with having done, and in the end, the decision is yours to make. If your vision hasn't been checked for awhile, make an appointment now and we'll schedule you in.

The Gainesville Eye Center provides top-quality treatment for a variety of problems and conditions.
