With the advancements in tools and technologies the demand for technically competent professionals has increase manifolds. With an endeavour to fulfil this growing demand Jodhpur Engineering College & Research Centre was established in 2002 under the flagship of Jodhpur National University.

Jodhpur Engineering College & Research Centre offers B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph. D full time courses. Specializations offered in B.Tech are:

Jodhpur Engineering College & Research Centre offers Ph.D. in civil engineering. College also offers specialized course in Department of Applied Science and Humanities Department of Chemistry.

College has over 100+ well equipped state-of-art laboratories with special equipment like Deval Abrasion Testing machine, Reciprocal theorem apparatus, Advance Microprocessor, etc. which provides excellent opportunities for students to practically experiment their theoretical knowledge. College also provides Language & Communication lab for teaching English language & communication techniques to students. Communication lab is well equipped with latest audio-visual gadgets.

For student enrolled in B.Tech courses educational tour for VII Semester students is organized after semester examination in the month of December and is compulsory being part of curriculum. Also, survey camp is organized for V Semester students in the month of September- October and is a compulsory part of curriculum. College also provides assistance in VIII semester on job training.

College has a team of highly dedicated and knowledgeable professors and also has guest lecturers visiting from some of the renowned Indian colleges. College also has a team of lab staff which provides help to students for their practical courses.

Jodhpur Engineering College & Research Centre provides placement opportunities to its students in some of the leading organizations. College has a dedicated placement cell to help its students to undergo a rigorous training to be able to apply for leading multinational companies visiting college premises with the aim of hiring fresher’s. College also provides its students access to multiple placement drives and offer 100% placement assistance. College also encourages its students to take up self-employment by providing them with required help.
