While a large segment of the population has fled the scene escaping to the neighbouring countries and the relief camps organized by some service organizations, a lot more are still remaining there condemned to eternal fear and stress forced by the bombing, shelling and indiscriminate killing by the war groups. They just have to allow every day to pass by without hopes for any betterment. As they have been deprived of every decent opportunity to eat like others and stay healthy, they are left to the mercy of situations eating what the relief groups offer them and trying to survive with the meagre amount of supplies that is often not enough to pull on their life.

The relief groups have to carry the food materials to feed the hungry in the interiors of the country and they have to even face the threat and danger to their own lives. Several dedicated volunteers serving on behalf of the relief groups have faced their unfortunate death in the hands of war groups. Since food is a consumable item, there is a recurring need for food supplies in Syria to feed the thousands strangled without any chance to work, earn or find the way to win their daily bread.

The support from the world community towards the food supplies to Syria is really encouraging. However, the amount of requirement faced in the country is rather very huge that more participation is called for.
