Plan a Trip to North East India with your Loved Ones

I love to travel and explore the different parts of India, not necessarily the most known ones, but what takes my fancy. My partner does not enjoy travelling as much as I do, but my kids have the travel gene from me and thus, every year, we go to some tour on their vacations.

Last year, we settled on to travel North East India, i.e. Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh. Indeed, it was one of the best tour. We scanned the net for information on the place, what to see, suggestions from the people who have been there etc. But, a friend of mine recommended us to consult a company, which has been aiding the tourists for a longer time.

After making a thorough search on the web, reading online reviews, and taking suggestions from the known ones, we filtered our choices. We called the service providers to know their complete work details, and chose the one, which was covering our needs in the given budget. With their assistance, the whole journey was comfortable, and we have gained a tremendous knowledge about the culture, traditions, geographic settings and topology, rich heritage, and many more. We have hired a guide who facilitated meaningful conversation with the localities to build friendly terms with them.

I would suggest everybody to avail the benefits of their services. Visit the different tourist agencies' website to know how they work. Fill in your requirements like destination (such as Assam, Arunachal Prades, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, or Tripura), arrival date, duration of the trip, number of travellers, number of kids, adults, interests like rafting, hourse riding, art & craft, festivals, cuisine, cruise etc. Provide your personal details as well, so that the service providers can reach you. The travel agencies provide full freedom to the people to choose their itinerary so that they do not miss visiting their choice of place.

On the first day, we took an early morning flight to Guwahati, and went to take the divine blessings at "Kamakhya Temple" situated on Nilachal Hill. We had a good darshan and then went back to the pre booked destination by these agents. Then, we went to Shillong, and our guide stopped at Umiam Lake. After some time, we started our drive to Don Bosco Museum, showing the culture of the north-east, the seven sisters, and the different tribes present there. Our next stop was Elephant Falls, we spend some time there, and on our return to room, we drove through the market area. We have enjoyed the natural beauty of the different places. We went to Cherapunjee, which is the wettest place on Earth. Arwah Lumshynna caves, Eco Park, Mawsmai caves, Ramakrishna Mission Museum, Nohkalikai waterfalls, Mawlynnong, Living Root Bridge, Ward's lake etc are some of the attractions.

We were able to fully enjoy because of the hospitality and arrangements of these travel agents. It was one of the most memorable trip till date. Now, I prefer availing the services of these experts before planning any trip.
