Inverter airconditioners use the technology of operation, the basic principle of which is control and change of the compressor speed. In this way, the amount of output (and, respectively, consumed) is changed. The basic idea of??creating inverter air conditioners is to ensure a high level of energy efficiency and better heating operation. This is the main difference between inverter air conditioners and those we are accustomed to calling "ordinary". Of course, inverter air conditioners also have a number of other features that distinguish them from ordinary ones. For the distinctive features in question we will talk in the following lines to understand the essentials and features of inverter air conditioners. We have already said that inverter air conditioners are designed to achieve a high level of energy efficiency. But which components and operating mechanisms of inverter air conditioners are different from those of conventional ones? In order to respond as clearly and comprehensively as possible to this issue, we will look at the two types of air conditioners - inverter and ordinary.

  1. Compressor operation - In inverter air conditioners, the performance of the compressor differs significantly from that of ordinary compressors. The main advantage of inverter air conditioners is their ability to gradually increase the speed after starting work. This reduces friction in the compressor itself, which significantly increases its lifetime. Depending on whether they work with either straight or alternating current, the compressors of the inverter air conditioners are divided into two main types. The name of the AC compressors comes from "Alternate Current" and means "alternating current". It follows that, after entering the inverter air conditioner's grid, the voltage is transformed into the right and then again into alternating voltage. This juncture has a different frequency than the incoming one. AC-compressors of inverter air conditioners have up to 35% higher efficiency than conventional ones. On the other hand, DC compressors operate with direct current. The direct current is transformed after it enters the inverter air conditioner by a built-in transducer. The use of low-voltage direct current enables the DC compressor to operate extremely precisely. Proof of this is the 50% higher efficiency of DC-Inverter compressors than those of conventional air conditioners.
  2. Electricity consumption - In terms of the amount of electricity consumed, the inverter air conditioners are very economical. Inverter air conditioners maintain the desired room temperature without any fluctuations. In addition to compressors with different variable speeds, the fans of the indoor and outdoor units also work. This allows the inverter to safely reach the required pressure of the refrigerant and to hold it. There is a clear difference with ordinary air conditioners that, when reaching the required degrees, stop the operation of their fans. Which equalizes the pressure and forces the process to reach the corresponding pressure be restarted from the beginning. While inverter devices retain this pressure and remain ready for operation, they consume much less energy.
  3. Heating process - here again there are significant differences between inverter and ordinary air conditioners. Unlike conventional air conditioners, inverter ones are perfect when they need to operate at low outside temperatures and high humidity. The reason for this lies in a more sophisticated and effective defrosting system. Perhaps the only inconvenience with inverter air conditioners is that a little more time is needed to get started. Have to wait for their compressor to reach the required pressure. It is only then that the process of heating the room can be started. Of course, time for preparation is not something that would be a major concern for consumers. Its maximum duration is within 10-15 minutes. By the way, once the necessary pressure is in place, the inverter air conditioner keeps it safe and at low energy costs.
