Change Apple Music as Default Music Service

iPhone devices that are running on iOS 14 or above have deeper interoperation for HomePod and music applications. Basically, Apple has permitted users to stream any third-party music apps or services like Pandora. These third-party services can now set as default service.

Once the Pandora app is installed on the iPhone, users have to open it and go into the Profile tab. Choose Settings option, and click Connect with HomePod option.

After following these steps, users can either set Apple Music as default app and if anyone wants to use Pandora, they will have to speak up like "Hey, Siri, play pop songs on Pandora."

Or if anyone wants to set Pandora as the default music app, they have to open the Home application and move into Settings. Choose Profile under the Users section and click Default Service>Pandora.

Use Intercom Feature

People who have multiple HomePods, they can set up all of them to use in an intercom system. Users won’t have to set up every HomePod device if they all are running on the latest software version. To utilize the intercom feature, users will only have to say "Hey, Siri, intercom it’s time for dinner." In a few seconds after the command, all the HomePod devices will play a recording of your voice. However, users can use intercom features in many more ways.

Where’s My Phone?

In this situation, users simply need to ask, "Hey, Siri, Where’s my phone?" and Siri will play a sound on the device that will help users to find it.

Two Speakers Creates Stereo Sound

If anyone has two HomePod devices, they can pair them together to release stereo sound. Once both HomePods are connected, users can stream anything while keeping them in different rooms of a house. The main thing here users need to remember is that they always use two same types of HomePods to create stereo sound.
