No longer are there any devastating signs of war that this country has been ravaged with but now the shining glory of the rich Vietnamese culture shines day after day. Wounds of the past have been healed with the passage of time and it would be great to get some top Vietnam vacation packages to spend quality time there.

No more wounds, Vietnam is now a flower and is known around the globe as a rich and beautiful land with a deep rich culture. Many would be clamouring to buy top Vietnam vacation packages in high season and low season to see this beauty of a country. Filled with minorities of all ethnic backgrounds, Vietnam has become a thriving country with many businesses flourishing here and developments being seen all around. The various people living within its borders are adding uniqueness to its culture. The markets are living and breathing this diverse cultural energy that those who visit will be very enthralled to be embraced by.

Many couples love the idea of a honeymoon in the exotic land of Vietnam and you can imagine the bride and groom standing together with the backdrop of the Halong Bay. The trip can commence in the city of Hanoi as part of a 5 day tour that can begin right after the wedding ceremonies are over. This tour will take the honeymoon couple and any guests to the most popular destinations in Northern Vietnam. Cities such as Hanoi, Ninh Binh and the Halong Bay can be seen with alterations to the itinerary to suit the plans of the bride and groom.

The Southern route is also very popular with a tour starting at Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon and moving on to the Cu Chi Tunnels from the war time that tourists flock to see. The danger gone and the fighting long past, people love to see and imagine the great feats by those who had to fight and die in such a bloody conflict.

Tunnel rats of the United States and the South Vietnamese were soldiers trained to counter the North Vietnamese more famously known as the Viet Cong, who dug these tunnels to supply and launch guerrilla attacks on US forces and the South Vietnamese. This is a five day tour also that welcomes its visitors at Saigon: Ho Chi Minh City that also has another name of 'The Pearl of the Far East.' With that kind of reference and the ties to such a bloody conflict, those ideas alone will intrigue many who wish to stand in the land where such violence and death rained down on the people and where United States troops were killed and maimed by the thousands and all for naught as the conflict was lost to the mighty Viet Cong. This loss to the greatest military of the world came via the tremendous pressure of hippie protesters and images of horrible deaths and shootings on the evening news along with anti war movements being orchestrated by Communist infiltrators within the United States, preying on young people who were gullible and easy to sway.

All this history makes for a lure to Vietnam, a land that was used in a proxy war by two super powers at the time, Communist Russia who supplied the Viet Cong and the United States who fought alongside the South Vietnamese to attempt to preserve Democracy. History will always rue the day that the pressures from the Communists that tainted the minds of the young in the United States, also a big influence in the Democratic party, has had similar effects ever since, weakening a once strong and proud nation. There are many reasons to purchase top Vietnam vacation packages no less, to learn more about just what happened in this small country of rich culture.
