My rendezvous with adventure started in November this year, when we, a group of 15 college old pals decided for an adventure excursion to Rishikesh. Off-late, thanks to the busyness of livelihood and family, we guys lost touch so though of a reunion and trying our hands on some crazy adventures.

We chose Aspen camp as our vendor to host the program and by far I admit that it was a good choice. Rishikesh, has made its image as an adventure hub in India. Rafting and Bungee are 2 adventures, which is the focus of travelers here. The destination offers abundant camping options, both in basic and luxurious categories. We thought of having a latter one.

The Camp is strategically located in the serene foothills of the Himalayas on a beautiful tributary of Ganges. The river flows just at a stone throw distance from the tents, making it an ideal camping location. They have Swiss tents (as they are called), with enclosed washrooms and other amenities. For me, it was a bit of a surprise to see such facilities in a tent, as I have camped earlier in Kolad, and had a basic accommodation there. Aspen adventures is one of the most popular outfitters for rafting in Rishikesh. Since it was a company trip, we did some extensive research and ref checks.

The kitchen at the camp is excellent, offers you some remarkably good options in various cuisines. Food was undoubtedly the best. The evening campfire arrangement with a Guitarist performance was a fantastic experience. Being suffering with water phobia, I was never that enthu about rafting, but hats off to Vijender and Azad, who made it so convincing, that I not only just rafted, but also jumped from a 30 feet rock for Cliff Jump rafting in rishikesh. I was really impressed with the safety measures that they adhere to. Medical kits, back ups, water bottles etc. You name it they have it on board. We all had a great experience being with aspenadventures.in Team. The idea of re-union was met to it’s fullest and the entire gang experienced some breathtaking adventures, along with the serenity of the mountains and a great stay. I put forward a personal recommendation for aspen guys, they are true professionals with smiling faces.
