Hopping on board one of the convenient Tenerife transfers is the ideal way to enable you to see some scenery while you head from the airport to your accommodation. No doubt you will see some attractions en route, but if you want some more inspiration, we’ve got some for you right here.

Splash down in Siam Park

Everyone loves a water park in a hot country, don’t they? Tenerife now has the amazing Siam Park Water Kingdom for you to visit, and it is well worth the money. The park is huge and it has plenty of water rides to try out - if you are brave enough. Why not plunge down a large cone – avoiding the dragon as you go – on The Dragon ride? How about riding The Giant, another superb ride that sees you riding through tubes and round corners? If the Tenerife transfers service you used was exciting enough on arriving, this will be even better!

Explore Teide National Park

Mount Teide is the highest mountain in the whole of Spain. This means you may well see it quite easily when you take your Tenerife transfers to reach your accommodation. The National Park it sits in is worth a closer look, but do make sure you are prepared and you take plenty of water with you. There are archaeological sites here and, perhaps not surprisingly, the whole park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As you wander around you might like to imagine the many movies that have been filmed here, including the remake of Clash of the Titans.

See the Pyramids of Guimar

The pyramids most of us think about are the ones in Egypt, but did you know Tenerife has some as well? You probably won’t see these pyramids from the window of the Tenerife transfers, but they are worth seeking to experience. There are six of them in all and it is thought they are many centuries old. They are not classic pyramids as you would imagine them to be, though – these ones are terraced and formed in rectangles. They are still quite fascinating to see though, especially as excavations here have told archaeologists much about life many years ago.

There are many other things you can do in this lovely sun kissed destination, including relaxing on one of its many beaches. However, many people like to spend plenty of exploring the island too, and the highlights we have included here are just a starting point. If you are heading to the island in the near future perhaps one or more of these attractions will make it onto your list of things to see and do – this gorgeous island has some great attractions - both old and new - for you to enjoy.
