- Anthargange: this place is a heaven for rock trekkers. It is situated only 70 km away from Bangalore and the interesting rock formation is the main attraction. Antharangange is a perfect place for a weekend adventurous trip. Family picnic, friends trip or corporate outings, you will enjoy the volcanic rock formation and the cave. Mountaineering, rock climbing, rappelling and camping are the suitable activities which will keep you busy here.
- Devarayanadurga- It is a hill station located roughly 65 km away from the IT city. The rocky hills surrounded by greens and temple atop the hill makes it a joyous trip to Devarayanadurga. The temple is dedicated to Lord Narasimha. At an altitude of 3,940 feet, you will see the spring Namada Chilume. The panoramic view of the surrounding from this height is a memorable one.
- Manchinbele- This place is situated 40 km away from Bangalore and it is a charming spot to spend a weekend differently. A not-so-popular dam and a big banyan tree will catch your sight. Manchinbele is a scenic spot with colourful butterflies surrounding the dam. It is a good place to enjoy a weekend.
- Thattekere- If you love cycling and bird watching, then Thattekere is the best option for you. About 25 km away from Bangalore city, Thattekere is a scenic spot which is bestowed with charming natural allures. Thattekere Lake and Bannerghatta National Park are the attractions of the place. Nearby woods is an added advantage and offers a joyous trek trail.
- Savandurga- Magadi road is about 33 km from Bangalore. Here, Savandurga Hills is situated. It is one of the highest monolithic hills of Asia. Amazing creation of nature and it is formed by two hills Kaigudda and Biligudda, Savandurga touches the beautiful Arkavathi River as well. Sri Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy Temple is an added attraction of the place.
