Whether you drive race cars as a profession or have a racing car that you just enjoy taking for a thrilling ride now and then, you likely have leather seats that need cleaning every now and then. You might be wondering the best way to return your Sparco racing seats back to new looking condition. If you are looking for new racing seats, then Subé Sports is a great place to shop. They can help you find the seats that you need. If you have already purchased your racing tips and are looking for a way to get them nice and clean again, then here are some tips.

Leather Car Cleaner

If you are simply looking for a way to clean off some dirt off of your Sparco racing seats, then you might be able to get the job done with some leather cleaner. You should be able to find some for purchase at your local grocery store, car dealership, or auto parts store. If you can’t find them in any of these places, you can order it online. These can be good for simple jobs like cleaning off dirt that hasn’t settled or cleaning up a recent spill. However, these common leather cleaners likely won’t get your seats looking like new again if it has been a while since they have been cleaned.

Vacuum

If you need to take your cleaning a step further, then a good first step is to do a thorough vacuuming. This will help remove crumbs and other debris from the seats. You might be amazed at how much different it looks after you have finished vacuuming. Be sure to get in all of the nooks and crannies of the seat, as this is where most crumbs wind up travelling. You might vacuum two or three times to make sure you get everything that you need to.

Use Microfiber Cloth

After you have finished vacuuming your car, then the next step is to use a microfiber cloth to get rid of the dirt that is on the surface. Use leather cleaner or some vinegar and water with the cloth to remove it. Consider using small circles to help scrub it out. If you can, apply some more cleaner as you go, especially if you find that some of the surface dirt is being stubborn.

Use a Brush

After the surface dirt has been removed, you should use a brush to get the dirt out that has settled into the leather. You might be surprised at how much dirt has settled into your leather Sparco racing seats. Use the brush along with some cleaner. Put the cleaner on the seats and then use the brush to scrub. Make sure you use a brush that doesn’t damage the leather. You don’t want something that is so abrasive that it scratches the leather.

Wipe Once More

After your scrubbing, use a dry cloth to get the dirt and soap off of the seat. You will likely be surprised at how much better your seat looks. If you want to keep your seats in good shape, then be sure to do this regularly to avoid the dirt from becoming too difficult to remove.
