Grandma is a stubborn woman who is absolutely stuck in her ways. She refuses to move out of the family home saying that she is fine to live on her own. She gets by, that’s true, but I worry about her being alone all day and all night. What if she needs help and can’t get to the phone or doesn’t have her cell phone in her pocket? It could be hours before anyone checks on her. I’m going to get a personal alarm system for Grandma. If she won’t move to a safer place then it is my duty to make her place safer for her.

I shop around and find that Saga personal alarm is the right one for her. It is simple to set up and easy to use. I can program my phone number in so that if grandma has to push the button I will get a call that she needs help. Also, if I’m not available I can program other numbers in of those who can help as well. Grandma won’t like it if there is too much to figure out and Saga personal alarm is very easy to activate with a light touch.

Something that was very important to me was that grandma be able to use the personal alarm system while in the shower or outside of the house. The Saga personal alarm system is water resistant and works up to a good radius from the base unit plugged in inside the house. Finally, Saga personal alarm system is affordable for me. I’m paying for it on my own so I needed the alarm system to be affordable.

Grandma is happy that I was thinking about her and she is flattered that I worry. She thinks I’m a little silly though and still insists that she’s fine. However, she agrees to wear the pendant because it will make me feel better. I show her the Saga personal alarm system and go through every part with her. She agrees that it is easy and doesn’t believe she’ll have any trouble with it. Grandma thanks me for the extra safety measure and for allowing her to stay in her home. I’m the only family member that will listen to grandma and give her a little bit more time in the home she raised her family in.

Shopping for Saga personal alarm system for grandma was the best thing I have ever done. Grandma has a new sense of independence and I have a renewed peace of mind. We are both happy with a resolution that allowed grandma to stay in her home for a few more years. The cost of the personal alarm system is not too much for me to pay for and it is worth every bit to see grandma smile and relax. I’m sure that it will always work for her but I just hope she never has to use it.
