Boo At The Zoo Weekend #2

With Halloween being around the corner, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, offers everyone’s favorite event of the year- Boo at the Zoo. This fun frolic event for all age groups runs between October 15 -18 and 22 – 25, but this year there is an additional trick o treat for all the lovely visitors- the event will open an hour earlier, at 5pm- until 9pm, only to add that extra spookiness to this fun event.
Every night the zoo will be transformed into a delightful scary and spooky place filled with exciting, and safe Halloween fun stuffs for a monstrously and ghostly good time. For the delightful little monsters, these eight nights of a perfect hallows eve will feature plenty of fun ghost action and a chance to see many of your favorite animals under the stars.
The visitors and guests dressed as ghouls and goblins can enjoy special activity areas and entertainment throughout the zoo. As for the usual Boo fun, the classic Halloween favorites will be waiting for you in the zoo. So all you awesome guests and visitors, be on the lookout for magicians, stilt-walkers, clowns and jugglers. Boo at the Zoo creates a perfect set up to go wild at the Monster mash dance party and the Junior Super hero academy. You will get a chance to explore the not so haunted greenhouse and the nature tracks mobile classroom. The guests can also visit UH rainbow babies and Children’s Hospital Safety Zone at the Centre for Zoological medicines.
Whether the guest is dressed as an adorable animal, or a superhero or a clown, everyone will be encouraged to wear spooky yet fun costumes. The guests are requested to bring flashlights to light up the dark areas of the zoo. The eight nights of SPOOKtacular Fun is running from October 15-18 & from October 22-25 between 5pm- 9pm. Specially designed for a younger audience, these BOO nights of scare free fun, presented by Giant Eagle will feature a neighborhood of safe Halloween entertainment, with spooky delight on every corner. Happy Haunts includes- Haunting on the High Seas Animal Show, treats for children, magic shows, costumed characters, spooky train ride and Monster Mash Dance Party. For non-members the tickets are priced at $9 online/$10 at the box office. For zoo society members the tickets are priced at $8 and free for kids under 2 years of age.
