Recreational vehicles can be comfortable and convenient for traveling long distances.

I’m planning the trip of a lifetime around the United States. I want to visit the numerous national parks around the country starting on the east coast and working my way across to the west coast. It is my opinion that the best way to do this is in a recreational vehicle.

I’m looking for a recreational vehicle (RV) for sale that meets all of my needs for a trip around the country. It has to be affordable and within my planned budget. The RV has to have modern comforts like a kitchenette with a table, stove and refrigerator. It also has to have a three piece bathroom that is spacious enough for me to move around in. Additionally, I’d like a roomy bedroom where I can sleep on a queen size bed and maybe watch TV.

I’ll be staying at campgrounds along the way to the state parks. Most of my activities will be outdoors but being able to relax in a comfortable bed or sit on a comfy couch at the end of the day will be nice. I would like to be safe from the elements. Also, I need to find a recreational vehicle that has storage. I find that some RV’s don’t have anywhere to put lawn chairs or firewood. If I’m going to spend months on the road living in a recreational vehicle, I need the convenience of comfort, space, and storage.

Checking out newspaper ads and online sellers is a good place to find recreational vehicles for sale. I find plenty of dealers who have new ones but I’m not sure that they are within my budget. Since I’ll be working and living in my RV while I travel, I have to be careful how much money I spend. On top of the actual vehicle price is gas and insurance. All of these are top considerations when I buy a recreational vehicle.

There are plenty of RV’s for sale within my budget. Not too many have all of the conveniences that I’m looking for, however, a few of them do. Before I commit to buying any recreational vehicle, I have to test drive them. I’ve seen some seriously big RV’s and I’m not sure that I can handle the big rigs. Also, before I buy, I want to walk around in them, sit in them and really get a feel for how it would be to live in a recreational vehicle for months while traveling across the country. Finding the recreational vehicle for sale that I want is going to take some time and effort. I won’t settle for just anything. I want to be comfortable and enjoy the ride. I need the space and storage for some of my things. When I find the recreational vehicle that meets my needs, I will know it and then I’ll buy it. Until then, I’ll keep searching newspapers, internet, and dealers for recreational vehicles.
