According to HVS India, Mumbai had around 13,022 branded hotel rooms in 2014. The same is expected to grow by another 7,896 rooms (up by 61%) by 2018 – 2019. Similarly, there were 6, 159 branded hotel rooms in Pune by 2014. The city will have around 2,620 more hotel rooms (up by 43%) by 2018 – 2019.
