Movies have always been favourites among people back in the olden days as well as today. There has been a drastic evolution in the world of cinema over the years and the change is commendable. From black and white cinemas in the olden days to colour movies and now to 3D motion pictures, movies definitely have come a long way.

Whatever people may have to say about the beauty of today’s pictures, the tremendous improvement of technology or the wonderful photography techniques involved, true beauty still lies in the simplicity of vintage cinema. With not much to depict in the form of choreography and photography, the movies of olden days focused on the story lines and emotions.

There were heart touching drama which would make you cry, open hearted and clean comedy that would make you have a hearty laugh, stories with good messages that would make you ponder and much more. Vintage movies had a class of their own and the makers of such movies would not stoop down to any lower levels, compromising on the standards they maintained.

On the contrary, modern day cinema has a variety of stories unlike the olden day movies. While the storiesin olden day movies would mainly revolve around the life of people in a village or about kings and their dynasties, movies today come with ample amount of violence, killing and crying and various other disturbing stories. Additionally, movies today look more colourful and vibrant in order to attract more viewers, with a lot of importance given to songs and music as well.Vintage Cinema versus Modern Day Cinema:

There are various differences between moves of yesteryears and of today’s generation and who is the winner is a highly debatable topic. However, people of today also respect and value movies that display magic in black and white. With no shades of any other colour, no heavy bass music, nothing in particular to attract its viewers, the movies of earlier times still have buyers than for the newer ones.

In addition to that, in order to bring back the magic of olden day cinema, many producers and directors and remaking the same old movies in order to ensure those wonderful stories are passed on to the coming generations as well. Some people are also bringing back the olden black and white movies to existence in colour formats, in order to bring n viewers of younger generations. This way, many youngsters also understand the beauty and simplicity in the movies of those times.

At the end of the day, the purpose back then and today was to entertain people and to show them various stories n the form of pictures. People could go to a cinema hall, sit back and relax to watch their favourite movie, much on some tasty snacks and forget all worries of the outside world at least for a few hours.
