Barbecues are the best way to connect with people and form life long memories. They elicit memories of summer, cold beers and bonfires. If you are looking for laid back birthday ideas, a barbecue is the perfect way to celebrate the milestone. It can be overwhelming to plan a Bbqs because there many components you have to consider.

Here is a check list to make the process easier:

1.Own or rent an electric barbecue or gas barbecue

This may seem like an obvious point, but many people do not realise if their barbecue has stopped working after years of no use. Furthermore, make sure there is enough gas for it to operate. Avoid the last minute panic by checking this a week in advance and fixing the issue.

2.Purchase a diverse variety of meats

Not everyone enjoys the same meat so it is important you accommodate the interests of all your guests. Make sure you sausages as they are a BBQS and chicken as it is a commonly enjoyed food.

3.Vegetarian Options

Make sure you have vegetarian meat or vegetables you can grill on your barbecue. It can be awkward if you have a vegetarian or vegan guest and there is nothing to satisfy them. Grilled mushrooms are delicious, easy to make and can be enjoyed by everyone! Sprinkle some shredded garlic over them to add a zing.

4.Finger Foods

Whilst the barbecue food is cooking, you should have some prepared options to snack on such as chips, dips and platters. You do not want anyone complaining about how hungry they are!

5.A Cold Esky filled with Alcoholic and Non Alcoholic Drinks

Stock up on more drinks than you need so people feel comfortable to take a drink. In summer this is highly important as the heat can cause fatigue and dehydration. Beers, ciders and soft drinks are a hit.
