Glimpses of India Fashion week Dubai, Season 3

The third edition of India Fashion Week Dubai started on a fashionable note at the posh Oberoi Hotel in the city. The event will be attended by the top notch fashion designers of Indian sub continent. Here, the hottest couturiers of India and Pakistan will showcase their designs for an enthusiastic audience of fashionistas. Cutting edge designs and illustrious styles are exhibited at this event in Dubai. The class of style here is unmatched and their perfect display marked by the celebrity showstoppers leave the onlookers wanting for more.

With this event, Indian fashion industry is set to catapult itself on a wider platform of international fashion. The designers showcasing their creations at this mesmerizing venue include the leading names of fashion. The dresses showcased here included Anarkali salwar kameez, sarees, salwar suits, lehengas, et al.

The day 1 of this mega event witnessed the traditional cuts in their most stylish avatars. The designers like Anupam Kumar displayed Tribal Travel with Time; Biba Kohli experimented with golden art work on pristine whites, Megha and Jigar taking inspirations from the weaves of Varanasi, and Himmat Singh showcasing traditional Jodhpuris and Nehru Jackets in an innovative style along with many other designers having Anarkali salwar kameez and lehengas on the show.

The grand finale of this event will be star studded with the famous Indian designer Archana Kochchar and Pakistani designer Deepak Perwani coming together for the first time. This was a befitting finale of this extravaganza. Archana focussed on the concept of Make in India and showcased her collection inspired from Ahimsa fabric produced without killing the silk worms. There were beautiful Anarkali salwar kameez and other dresses in her collection. On the other hand, Deepak showcased a wedding collection inspired from the beautiful Chantilly lace and Baroque roses. It is a contemporary twist to the ethnic styles of wedding wear.

The two days long event was full of latest styles and leading names of the fashion fraternity. Smongst these celebrities added up the perfect show with their presence. As expected, the event turned out to be a big success taking Indian ethnic fashion and fusion wear to a global level with more buyers and admirers for the talented couturiers of the country.

With the end of this season 3 in India Fashion week Dubai, the organizers are looking forward to launch the next edition also very soon. This is a stage from where budding designers can get a great exposure while showcasing their designs with the leading fashion designers of the country. The event takes place outside the sub continent. As such, these designers also get the opportunity to take the traditional arts and designs of India to an international clientele.
