There was a time when kings and and emperors could only afford refined tapestry work that were woven by workers from dusk to dawn to produce woven masterpieces. The common folks could nlot even think of affording such high quality material. Instead of opting for tapestry they had settle for something less, that is the cloth blankets. However, Jacquard Loom changed it all when it was discovered in the beginning of the nineteenth century. During that time tapestries became affordable even to the common people. As a result, everyone could enjoy the beautiful works in their homes.

The Jacquard looing machine or the heald became very popular worldwide. Eventually, the machine was not just used for practical purposes but also for home decorative styles. However, the only thing was that tapestries stayed only for the kings. However, with the advent looming machine, the entire scenario changed. This is a brilliant art form that took to many homes at nook and corner of the world that were produced with the help of the machine.
