Labour law/Employment law/Human Resources Law, is the structure of laws which redresses the legal rights of, and restrictions/liabilities on, employees/working people and their organizations. There are varied aspects of the relationship between employers, employees and Trade Unions. In simple words we can say that Labour law tells about the rights and liablities of employers, workers, and union members in the workplace. In wider context labour law covers: Health and safety at workplace, unfair labour practices and Collective Bargaining, Relationship between labour and management relations, Industrial relations vis-a-vis certification of unions, Standards of Employment which includes general holidays, annual leave, working hours, unfair dismissals, minimum wage, layoff procedures and severance pay. It is an area which requires constant advice, and assistance in connection with workforce management.

  • Drafting of settlements, guide the management in obtaining registration Certificate/License under the Contract Labour (R&A) Act, 1970, Factories Act, 1948, Punjab Shops & Commercial Establishment Act etc.
  • Advise and guide the contractors in maintaining required personnel records of Contract Labour, returns to the authorities etc.
  • Appraise the management about amendments in statutory provisions of law applicable to your establishment including latest Supreme Court decisions of significance to the management.
  • Appraise the management about the Industrial relation scenario prevailing in the region comprising of Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Manesar, Dharuhera, Bawal, Faridabad etc.
