Katareke Prison Ditch - The prison depicts the brutal ancient history of Buganda. The furious king used to put his own brothers and sisters into imprisonment and harshly killed them for the fear that they may overthrow him. The sheltered cultural site reminds the visitors about the frightening incidents of the Buganda kingdom.

Kings Palace (Bulange Mengo) - The naming Buganda’a plalace was Lubiri and was built in the year of 1885.

Naggalabi – Buddo Coronation Site - The majestic hilltop of Naggalabi Buddo located at a small distance from Kampala city is the heart of Buganda’s history. The famous ruler was born here and all the kings were crowned at this place.

Namirembe and Rubaga Cathedrals - The St Mary’s Catholic Cathedral that was erected in the 1880s is situated on the Rubaga Hill. In the year of 1903, the protesting missionaries built the Namirembe Cathedral on Namirembe hill.

Namugongo Martyr’s Shrine - In 1886, the king Mwanga ordered killing hundreds of Protestant Ugandan men at the particular site. As these people denied forsaking their faith, the king undertook such mission. Later, a church was built in the memory of the martyrs.

Ndere Center - The cultural center located amidst the stunning gardens has several shopping centers. It also has a beautiful outdoor stage on which cultural performances are organized to entertain the tourists.
