Workplace discrimination can be seen in many forms. It includes the race, religion, ethnic discrimination and sexual harassment. Despites many laws, and spread of great social awareness in favor of gender equalization, gender based discrimination in the workplace is still experienced at high level. The studies reveal that men get better pay, promotions and flexible work schedules approved than their equally qualified female coworkers. The situation indicates that there is a long way to go with the giving women an equal treatment in the workplace.

The law and general practice safe the common citizen against any kind of discrimination or unfair behavior. It is the legal, social and moral liability of the manager or employer to stop and discourage any kind of discrimination or harassment. If he fails to fulfill his responsibility, the working environment of the company turns into the uncomfortable and unpleasant one. The main aim to set up this team is to solving and controlling the discrimination issues in its very early stage.
  • The seniors or the coworkers who are mentioned in any discrimination complaint needed to alert and made them to answer to the complaint. There should be a hearing like process to hear both the parties and ascertain the status or the seriousness of the situation.
  • There needs to take a quick and fair decision and the entire process must be documented properly.
