Journey between Toronto and Vancouver

The majestic journey from Toronto to Vancouver is a lifetime experience. The beautiful escape covers a huge area of 4,467 kilometres and goes through five provinces of the country. It takes five-days and four-nights to discover the changing landscapes of extraordinary diversity along four time zones.

The train starts from the Union Station, Toronto and within a few minutes, the passengers get to see the iconic CN Tower.

After the train crosses the vibrant city of Toronto, the forest begins. The route has many settlements and waterways which reflects the imprints of the British heritage. As it passes through many places in its long journey there are loads of important distinctive landscapes to explore.

Canadian Shield: The Canadian Shield covers more than half of the country and the train crosses the Trent-Severn Canal to reach there. The vast land consists of dense boreal forest, bare rocks, rivers and a huge number of lakes.

Chapleau Game Reserve: The next thing in the journey is the Chapleau Game Reserve, which is the world's largest wildlife reserve. It spreads over 7,000 square kilometres and is home to bears, moose, deer, and mountain goats.

Winnipeg Skyline: It is a pleasant shock to see the Winnipeg skyline after a long stretch of bareness. The train stops here for a long period of time and travellers can explore the architectural brilliance of the station building along with a visit to the Forks public market.

Hilly Terrains: After the stopover the train heads to the hilly destinations going through the capital of the Alberta province, Edmonton. The majestic vistas of the snow peaked mountains, spectacular waterfalls and plenty of pine trees capture your imagination.

Now the train enters the most beautiful phase of the excursion and everything becomes secondary except the enthralling landscape along with many mountain peaks including the tallest Canadian Rockies, Mount Robson.
