The religious city of Rishikesh is situated in the foothills of the Himalayas in Uttarakhand. It holds a deep cultural & religious significance as it is the gateway for some of the most famous pilgrimages in the country, including Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri & Yamnotri. But one cannot restrict this place to its temples. Rishikesh is the top spot for youngsters interested in adventure sports. The place offers an amazing holiday experience with white water rafting, bungee jumping & trekking trails. While there, you can make a quick stop at the holy city of Haridwar, just 20 kms away.

Goa

This charming little state on India's west coast, Goa used to be a Portuguese colony before India’s independence. Lined with pretty beaches, Goa attracts a whopping estimate of 2.5 million tourists every year. Hire a bike or a car & drive across the colonial charm of old Goa or simply laze around the beach & sample famous Goan cuisines. Don’t miss the pretty shell jewellery sold on the beaches.

Jaipur (Rajasthan)

The largest city in Rajasthan & India's first planned city, Jaipur is more famously known as the Pink City. It is home to some of the most famous forts of history. The city offers several attractions such as the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Amber Fort & the Birla Temple. If you happen to be there in January, don’t miss the Jaipur Literature Festival.
