X-games are one of the signature games in the world now. These games began in 1993 but evolved in 2003 with the start of X games in IX in L.A.

In 1993, ESPN management decided to devote significant resources to the creation of an international gathering of action sports athletes. With this, a team assembled to develop the concept.
