Krakow, one of the oldest cities of Poland has encountered events from history and now is the economic hub having leading centres of academics, literature, cultural and artistic life of the area.   • Wieliczka Salt Mine: This is the most perfect and one of a kind example of human endeavour. It has been proved that this salt mine is the mine running from middle ages having deposits from more than twenty million years ago. The tour to salt mine is not a small one, a person comes across various natural formations, sculptures, chandeliers all carved naturally.
  • Jewish quarter: This was the place where Catholics and Jewish used to stay together peacefully but after World War II, there was a huge decline. Jewish cultural festival, flea market, clubs and bars are the main places to be visited in this area.
  • St Mary’s Altar: This church is one of the things to be visited. The architecture and interiors of this church are overwhelming and extremely beautiful, arranged in a way to represent the life of Virgin Mary.
  • Auschwitz: Some kilometres away from Krakow, this is a place must to be visited. The museum and memorial made on this site especially for the people who died in World War II. This place is visited by millions of people a year and is one of the major tourist attractions due to the concentration camps constructed by Nazi’s.
