6 Fabulous Gifts For The Bride-To-Be!
Posted: Jul 12, 2016
Gifting during a bachelorette party isn’t as straightforward as it sounds. You either need to know your bride-to-be really well or know the couple quite closely, but often, we don’t. It’s usually an old college friend or a colleague, what do you do in such situations? Is it too inappropriate to give raunchy, personal stuff or is it too impersonal to give her a gift card?
Well, all you need to worry about is having a super time at the bachelorette, keep reading, and it will put to rest all your gifting concerns!
Buy her shots/wine
If it’s a classy affair, which most bachelorettes aren’t, you can get her a bottle of a decently aged wine. If it’s a party where you know you will eventually see the bride to be spewing in the bathroom and dancing on stage, then buy her a whole bunch of shots to make this night memorable (or not at all!). No gift needed.
Get her a gift card to a nice Lingerie store
When it comes to kinky gifts, it’s better to hand a gift card, especially when you don’t know the bride to be from when you were a little girl. Make sure it’s generous enough that she doesn’t have to shell out extra cash and the brand is one, you, yourself would shop at.
A gift hamper/basket
It could be full of bath salts, aromatic fragrances, high-end shampoos and really nice shower gels. Or it could be a gourmet basket, with cookies form the finest bakery, a bottle of Champagne, some choice biscuits, her favorite chocolates and chocolate covered strawberries. After all, the bride needs her daily dose of pampering.
Accessories for the bachelorette
You could even volunteer to get all the bride-to-be’s props on her bachelorette party. A veil, the bride-to-be sash, a really cute outfit and of course a shot glass hanging from her neck. If you bring the swag to the party, your gifting rights have been met with perfection.
An inscribed hoodie
It’s in the spirit of her upcoming nuptials, so it’s okay to be a tad bit cheeky. Gift her an inscribed pair of pants or hoodie that says, ‘Property of (groom’s name)’ It’s really cute and it’s something she’ll cherish even when the party is over. It’s personal but not too personal to make her uncomfortable.
Spa Pass
Gift her a relaxing day at the spa before her big day rolls by. A parade of people to pamper her with aroma therapy, Thai massage and a nice head massage will make her way happier than a bunch of random gifts, it’s something she can use right away and it’s surely a boon!
Now that you know the kinds of gifts you can pick, be sure to keep in mind the bride’s personality. If she’s closer to you than this, you can always gift her more than just one thing on the checklist. Either way, it’s a time where she wants to make memories and she wants you to be a part of it. So click lots of pictures with the photo booth props and add to the album she’s going to be sharing for a long time to come.
