Rain rain go away, come again another day,

Little Johny wants to play, rain rain go away!

Remember this rhyme from childhood? It’s asking the rain to stop pouring as the little fellow is stuck inside and cannot go out and play. Sounds familiar? For a few kids, yes it does. For the others, they love to step out and have a splash in the rain, get all drenched, play ball under the wet sky, jump into poodles of water, make paper boats and send them adrift in makeshift rivers and get dirty in the wet sand. Water is a major part of many happy childhood memories, from rains to long baths with action figures and toys, splashing in little tubs, playing with water spray guns, etc.

And when the kids grow up, the splashing and drenching continues, but not in the rain, in the swimming pool! Children of all ages have created and cherished many memorable moments in swimming pools. From floating in the tubes to playing water ball games with friends, an hour or two simply flies away in the pool. Swimming is a beneficial and high endurance exercise which strengthens your kid from the inside. It is a great way to cool down in extreme heat, and forms a nice outdoor social activity.

Checks for an outdoor swimming pool

So next time you are planning a holiday trip, opt for a Resort with water park and get swimming pool facility off your check list. Just the availability of a pool on the hotel premise is not enough; it should have the basic safety checks in place. Firstly, the pool should be well maintained and the water properly treated. The pool area should be clean and without sharp objects. The attached shower rooms should also be hygienic and washed on a regular basis. Check for the pool depth and the availability of a trainer, a lifeguard or other safety options. If the pool is attached with rides, check for their maintenance, if any of the ride is broken.

Water park resort options in Silvassa

If planning a trip around Mumbai or Surat, there are many resorts and Hotels in Silvassa that are equipped with swimming pools. It is highly beneficial to check for the resort details online before booking. Once the accommodation facility meets your liking and requirement, the pool amenities can be checked. If the details provided are sketchy, it would be a good option to call up the facility and clear all doubts. 4 to 5 resorts offer top class swimming pool facilities here. They are all gigantic, well maintained and fun’tastic. A few highly ranked resorts have attached water theme park too, with rides and slides and a whole lot of adventurous fun. They meet the safety standards and are hygienically maintained. Your little ones will have a splash to be cherished for a long time!

Kids love water. Swimming pools have a lot of it. Let them jump in and have a blast. And the fun would multiply if you decided to jump in yourself! Nothing beats family time, and having fun in the pool is a great way to create happy family memories- play and spend quality time with little ones, teach them a trick or two, have fun yourself and become a kid again for a little while!
