Posted: Jul 02, 2016
Do you still remember the time when having a blackberry meant so much more than just having a phone?More than just a phone Blackberry was round the clock office assistant and a status symbol. Although Blackberry wasn't the only player in the mobile phone segment but still, even the biggest contemporary multinational mobile manufacturers like Nokia, Motorola, Sony, etc. could never compete in Blackberry's niche market and it always retained its status as ‘ the business mobile'. But, then Samsung Galaxy S came and the rest is history.
Samsung Galaxy S just didn't come with interesting features but also with a very interesting interface. Performing various functions like surfing, mailing and interacting wasn't an arduous task anymore, with the Samsung Mobile phones in fact it added luster to the gaming and visual experience, an area in which Blackberry was always lagging behind. Samsung had actually understood that ‘all work and no play makes jack a dull boy' and hence it offered freedom from routine. Now, with just Galaxy S in hand one could remain immersed for hours without the hint of the time and this was an experience for which the users have been waiting for years. Samsung's super AMOLED display and faster processing capabilities were tempting gaming enthusiasts and professionals alike and that's why its sales reached 1 million within 70 days of its launch and have crossed over 400 million for the series over the course of time.
With every new generation Samsung Galaxy S made improvements catching the pulse of the user and the addition of Android platform gave it wings as plethora of apps can be utilized to enhance the user experience. Here, the important thing to note is that Samsung wasn't alone to en cash the opportunity as it was available for every player in the market but by now Samsung has carved a niche for itself and earned the loyalty of its users who weren't ready to turn their backs on their favourite brand. Samsung never disappointed its customer base and with every new generation packed more pleasant surprises for its users and went on to become one of the biggest smartphone seller with almost a quarter of the worldwide smartphone market share. Samsung was the phone of both the mass and the class, a quality which is rare to be seen in consumer products and this is one reason which enables one out of every three smartphone user to have Samsung.
The all new Samsung Galaxy S7 is the latest offering in the series and it is all set to redefine the limitations of a smartphones. This 2.3 GHz octa-core processor powered, 4GB ram phone, based on Android's latest Marshmallow platform is sure to clock amazing speed. It also gives you an extended storage of up to 200GB with host of additional attractions like high resolution 12 MP primary and 5MP secondary cameras for the pictures and selfie crazy youth. The long lasting 3600 mah battery will last whole day without worrying the professionals and hence is a comprehensive package.
The most important thing to understand here is that Samsung understood what companies usually fail to realize and implement and that's world class user experience. Apple understood it clearly and applied in its iPhone's and enjoys the cult status. ‘Supplying what is needed and not what you can' is the policy which always pays from the user's perspective.
