Packing Tips for Going on Safari

Pack the Right Clothing

The best think you can do is take along lightweight clothes that can be layered for when it gets a little cooler. Additionally, instead of only having short sleeved shirts, take longer sleeved ones that can be rolled up. Have a jacket with you as well. Try to take one that is resistant to water and will keep you warm when the weather is cool. Have a checklist of any medications you might need, antihistamines, painkillers, and antibiotics just in case you fall ill while on the trip. Make sure to take these in your luggage.

Use the Right Luggage

Speaking of which, you should make sure that the bags you use are soft sided. This will allow you to pack more of your belongings in, as a hard sided case is not flexible. Use bags that have wheels so that it is easier to take the cases around. You can save your clothes from getting too wrinkled by rolling them up instead of folding them. This will allow you to save on space too.

You will have to get a few vaccinations before you go on the trip, which may depend on where exactly you will be travelling.
