Whether it is a casual outing for a movie or pizza or a first date, you probably don’t want to look too dressed up. However, going for severely underdressed is also not the best choice. Remember, casual does not equal sloppy. Therefore, you need to keep yourself and your clothes and shoes clean. You also should not forget about getting barbering services and wearing your best cologne. Here some tips on what to wear when going on a casual date!

1. Leather Jacket

A nice, high-quality leather jacket is a well-known fashion staple and should be present in the wardrobe of every guy. It adds both style and some badassery to your appearance, not to mention, makes you look all kinds of hot and confident. Invest in this particular clothing item, which will be a great addition to almost any outfit.

2. A Neutral Fitted Shirt

Invest in a couple of casual fitted shirts in calm colors. If can be a gray, dark gray, black, teal, green, or any other color, which will bring out your eyes. I recommend staying clear of white shirts since they can seem a tad too formal. They same goes for such overwhelming colors as pink, bright fuchsia, red, orange, and so on. They can be a little bit too festive and inappropriate for the occasion.

3. A Soft T-Shirt Or A V-Neck Sweater

If you prefer an even more casual look, consider wearing a soft V-neck sweater or a T-Shirt with the same neckline. This type of cut is universally flattering and can help you to show off some of your physique. These are slightly more comfortable than fitted shirts.

4. A Nice Pair Of Jeans

A clean, flattering pair of jeans will go nicely with both leather and dress jackets. They are also pretty compatible with either T-Shirts or dress shirts and can be worn with a whole range of footwear. Go for dark blue, charcoal gray, or even black denim and you won’t go wrong.

5. Shiny Shoes, Leather Boots, Or Even Sneakers

The best thing about this outfit so far is it allows you to wear any type of shoes you want. You can choose between tough and badass biker boots, clean and polished dress shoes, and gray or black sneakers. All of the aforementioned kinds of footwear will go with the outfit nicely.

Follow these recommendations if you don’t know what to wear on a casual date!
