Each owner (also known as sharer) is allotted a period of time in which they can use the property as their own. The time allotted can be anywhere between a week to a month (or even more, if agreed upon) and it is given at around the same time every year.
This means that the people who ‘own’ the house can make use of it at their allotted time without having to worry about their hotel bookings. The units for timeshare are on partial ownership, lease or ‘right to use’ basis in which no sharer holds complete claim for ownership over the party.
