It is an objective type test which includes 100 questions and the time duration is one hour. The difficulty level of the questions is easy to moderate.   1. Reasoning Ability

  • Syllabus: This paper is designed to test the accuracy, speed and logical reasoning of the candidates. You should primarily focus on accuracy and try to solve easy questions first such as classification/odd pair, series completion/analogy, direction-based/direction sense questions, number, ranking and time sequence questions, alphabet test/dictionary questions etc.

  • Tips:

  • Don’t waste too much time on a single topic.

  • Your score will depend on both the accuracy and the speed. So, learn formulas and shortcut tricks.

  • Practice more and more with mock tests and previous years question papers.

  • Time allocation: You should give total 20 minutes to this section.

2. Quantitative Aptitude

  • Tips:

    • You should be well-prepared for this subject by learning formulas, concepts, properties etc.

  • Tips:

    • You just require 18 correct answers to clear the sectional cut-off.

    • First attempt questions on fill in the blanks, cloze test, and sentence correction as they are easier compared to other topics in this section. Then, move on to questions on reading comprehension.

  • Time allocation: You should give total 15 minutes to this section.
