Exam 312-50v9: EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker

The exam 312-50v9, Certified Ethical Hacker, accredited by ANSI, aims to educate and demonstrate hacking tools to be used for penetration testing. The candidates will have solve 125 multiple choice questions within a time period of 4 hours. The passing score for the exam is 70%. The people who get certified by this exam will be required to work in legitimate companies only; and this shall be ensured by the Accredited Training Centers. In order to be eligible for the exam, the candidates need to take a training workshop, or need to prove 2 years of experience in the field.

There will be 25 questions in this section, which will have a 20% weightage. Security architecture, service oriented architecture, N-tier application design, and network routing.

Five questions will be on policies, and 3 questions will be on the ethics involved in hacking. The topics on which the candidates will be tested are compliance regulations, (e.g PCI – Payment Card Industry), and the professional ethical code of conduct.
