MBA aspirants try and give their best and prepare to the best of their abilities for every MBA entrance exam they appear for, but their small mistakes hamper them in these exams. MBA aspirants try to look at all the exam through the same perspective which is not the case every exam has a different pattern and criteria to judge students.

Lack of focus on GK: It is one of the most important sections in any MBA entrance exam same goes for Snap Exam 2016 aswell, and most of the candidates skip it more often than not which acts as a blunder on the exam day. For every candidate preparing for any competitive exam, General Knowledge is a must. There is something or other happening around the globe every second, and it is very hard to keep an account of every single event. All this information can't be mugged up in a single day, so you need to follow a daily routine to get a proper understanding of all the events.

Few of the common mistakes Candidates do for GK section

Not Reading Newspaper

Candidates must read newspaper daily, cause if they are not they are not on the right track to compete for such exams. This habit will keep you updated on a daily basis about all the current happenings of the world. A candidate should try and read more than one newspaper so that they don't miss on any updates about a particular event and get a 360-degree view of the event

NO to Television

Skipping Television is one of the common habits in MBA aspirants or any student who is preparing for any competitive exam for that matters do. Watching Tv doesn't mean Candidate should stick to daily soaps cause they are not going to help you in any which way during your exam but sticking to TV news is important. TV news is important in every aspect, viewing certain news channels and will keep you updated.

Not Making Notes

Its great if a candidate follows news and reads the newspaper and other important reading material, but how can someone memorize all that in one go? The solution to this problem is making notes. Whatever that strikes your mind as important from the examination point of view should be noted down, so that it can be memorized latter on.

Not Using the Internet

Parents always have this question of students using the phone all the time; they have a right to say in that cause we don't utilize the right potential of Internet. Google, YouTube, and Wikipedia can be your best teachers, provided you use them in the right manner. Going through several sites only fill your plate with a lot of relevant information which is always beneficial. Even several pages on Facebook provide good quality content that can always come handy. The E-newspapers is always the best the option where you can focus on certain keywords

Not Reading GK Books/ Guides

Monthly GK books and guides can always be a great source of information and a good help in preparing for GK. These books give you aggregate information and help you revise through everything in one go.

Not Participating in Activities : Online Quizzes/ Discussion Forums

Like every other thing, the Internet finds a way to be a part of your life in any way possible. So with online Online quizzes and discussion forums, you can always be a part of a community which really helps. Participating with online communities can help you in assessing yourself and identify what are the scope of improvement.
