We are proud to unveil our latest 3G Personal tracker.This GPS tracker is completely future proof since it uses 3G WCDMA/UMTS networks. The majority of cheaper trackers use the old 2G network, but with more and more countries looking at turning off 2G reception in the coming years these will become nothing more than a useless paperweight.

The tracker is designed to be as reliable as possible. It utilises the tried and tested Qualcomm 3G chipset and combines this with a very accurate U-BLOX7 GPS Chipset.

There are dozens of different uses for our 3G trackers. The most common use will be to track vehicles in a fleet. Other uses include:

Almost all new mobile phones, even dumb phones are making the switch to 3G reception. This not only offers faster internet speeds but better coverage and a more reliable reception. There is no point investing in 2G personal GPS trackers anymore since they will stop working in the near future.

Most countries are looking to switch off the 2G cell phone reception so that the frequency can be used for other purposes. Our new GPS tracker uses a very reliable 3G radio but can also fall back to 2G if required. This will ensure the very best chance of getting a signal wherever you are in the world.

Easy to Use

We have designed the GPS 3G personal tracker to be very easy to use. So easy in fact that you can set it up and then pretty much forget about it. Once it has a sim card in and is set up, it will automatically start communicating the location of the tracker.

There are apps available for both iOS and Android smart devices to make tracking even easier. To find out the real time location of the tracker, you can either text the tracker and it will reply, or you can log onto the web-based service to view exactly where the tracker has travelled in a certain period of time.

GPS Tracking

The most important feature offered by the device is GPS tracking. This uses a very accurate GPS sensor and accelerometer to increase battery life and accuracy. The device can provide real-time or historical tracking displayed on a map. It can also send a text message with the coordinates of the tracker and a link to Google Maps.

As well as providing tracking it’s possible to set up a geo-fence. This is a virtual area drawn on a map. When the tracker enters one of these geo-fenced areas you will be notified. This is particularly useful when tracking vehicles. You could set up a fence a certain distance from your business premises, then you would be alerted before the vehicle arrives back at the depot.

Advanced Features

As well as offering GPS tracking, the unit provides some extra features which might be useful. These include an alarm when speeding is detected, SOS alarm, voice communication and voice monitoring. It is possible to dial into the tracker and listen to any conversations at any time.
