The Xavier Institute of Management in Bhubaneshwar was established as a result of a social contract between the Orissa Jesuit Society and the government of Orissa. Admission Process:

Aspirants are required to fill up the online registration form on the official site. Registering for CAT/XAT/GMAT is a prerequisite for applying toXimb.

The candidates are shortlisted from Section-wise cut-off and the total cut-off. The shortlisted candidates are called for Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). WAT & PI are organized in Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai. For these candidates will have to meet their travel/stay expenses. The final selection will of the candidate be based on his performance in the MBA entrance exam, WAT, PI, past academic record and relevant work experience. The selected candidates are informed about the selection in the first week of April.

Aspirants are required to take XAT, conducted in January every year, and they should have a minimum of 3 years bachelor's degree or equivalent to from a recognized university in any discipline
