The SIP trunking method seems more adaptive and flexible in the long term for both individual and company. The installation charges are entirely fair and reasonable.

SIP trunking is a part of VoIP and media streamed services which help the telephonic services to provide communication with the identified customers through internet system. The service of unified communication which is addressed as the messaging facilities in real time like chatting or voice callings, desktop sharing, video chats or conferencing through web and audio contents which involve the technical support of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP).

The structure of the SIP trunking includes a partition in the network of unified communications into dual expert domains:

Private domain – In this type of network option, the one part is connected with the PBX system.

Public domain – The network is accessed through the PTSN. This facility is to be provided by the dedicated network provider of the internet. The SIP trunk allows the interconnectivity between the two domains.

The two domains are interconnected by transporting through IP which involves the setting of specific rules that handles the protocols and services named under SIP trunking. The ITSP takes the complete responsibility of regulatory authority towards the obligations of the domains centralized with public. Tracking of traffics and users identification are the prime responsibility of public domain. Whereas the private domain is not answerable to the laws but will take the full liability of the company issues for providing voice services.

In every domain there are different elements which characterize the features requested to the domain, which is further split into two fragments:

  • Accessible to control features

The SIP trunking helps to separate the Private area from Public domain and implement the telephonic security policies. The PBX system helps in assisting Session Initiation Protocol for smooth working. The various applications enabled in SIP trunking are:

? Video facility

? Voice provision

? Web conferencing

? Sharing of desktop

? Media streaming

The benefits of using SIP trunking:

Facilities and services of SIP are similar to the services of the fixed telephone line. But the difference is that SIP connects the PBX installed by you to the network provider with the use of virtual cable, Ethernet, etc. the installation of SIP does not require the current infrastructure instead it is easily connected to less number of phone lines. SIP trunking is comparatively more efficient and fast in working from PBX system.
