Heaterless Vaporizers

In the conventional electric vaporizers, electric heaters are deployed to heat up water. Through the coil submerged in the hot water pool, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is passed. A lot of electric energy is spent for heating and maintaining the temperature of the water. Typically an energy of 100kg/hr is spent throughout the process which is equivalent to 60 MT of CO2 in a year.

However, the Heaterless vaporizers work on the principle of thermodynamics. The LPG vapors are formed by lowering down the pressure and the temperature of the LPG gas. A heat exchanger is deployed in it which remains in contact with the flowing water from a reservoir. Along with it, the pressure is also controlled in the vaporizer. This finally helps in converting LPG gas into LPG vapors. During the whole process there is no use of electricity and therefore using it is

LPG LOT System

A lot of inefficiencies in the traditional LPG LOT systems were noticed, like:-

• Higher chances of leakages.
• The requirement of aseparate pit for the individual lot component or vaporizer.
