Before, many individuals considered Melbourne to be Australia's coffee capital, and it's true that in early days, this is in which a lot happened in Australia, from an espresso coffee point-of-view. And as a world class coffee magazine, it's our job to help keep tabs on these things. We have been rating top cafes in Melbourne for five years now and this job just gets harder and harder, mainly because in Australia in general, in Melbourne specifically, we're spoilt for choice!
