Looking for Ski Chalets? La Tania Offers a Wide Availability
Posted: Jan 29, 2014
The winter holiday season is well and truly upon us, but some families and winter sports enthusiasts are still undecided as to where to base themselves. But if you're looking for ski chalets, La Tania, in the Courchevel area of France's legendary Les Trois Vallees, couldn't be better placed in offering superb facilities.
The Resort
Created as a dedicated winter resort a little over 20 years ago, due in part to the success of the 1992 Albertville Olympic Games, this delightful location is at the heart of the Three Valleys area on the French-Italian border.
Standing 1,350m above sea level, the region is a popular draw for skiers given its 150-kilometre range of ski runs and 108 pistes. For those looking to explore the local area, it offers quick and easy connections to the Three Valley villages of Meribel, Courchevel and Val Thorens.
With a traffic free centre, the resort continues to retain a much-loved village atmosphere, despite its international reputation for offering some of the best snow challenges in the region.
Chalet Range
When it comes to ski chalets, La Tania is at the forefront in offering the best available accommodation for small groups, large groups and families alike. Booking through a trusted and bonded operator will enable skiers to secure their accommodation with confidence.
Luxury accommodations are located close to the pistes and the 12-person capacity gondola lift, as well as being ideally situated for all the action in the village centre and the varied nightlife. Chalets are usually large and can accommodate any numbers, from between eight and 28 people, thanks to their unique, family-friendly designs, while retaining a cosy atmosphere and offering gorgeous views.
Typically made from Russian pine, the log cabins will have living rooms and bedrooms with en suite facilities and balconies, as well as fireplaces and the ubiquitous sauna and hot tub facilities. Wi-Fi and satellite TV are also available to keep skiers well connected with the outside world.
When it's in relation to personal touches in ski chalets, La Tania offers the best. For those looking for that "extra mile", some premium accommodation will have live-in staff on hand to offer the best experiences and hassle-free breaks, enabling guests to get on with what they enjoy most – winter sports.
Facilities
Guests can take advantage of a free bus or alternatively they can take any of the main lifts to explore the surrounding villages. Within the resort there are numerous hire shops, as well as a post office, bakery and village-related services.
Nightlife can be found in one of the many bars that dot the centre, while eating out offers a wide variety - with up to ten restaurants and takeaways ready to cater to the most discerning palate.
Apart from some fantastic ski chalets, La Tania also has great runs, while a tourist information office is available so holidaymakers can discover more about other exciting pursuits, such as paragliding and ice-skating.
