Toons still lay in that partially neglected corner of my Warcraft World
Posted: Mar 13, 2014
Patch 5.4 brought sweeping changes to World of Warcraft. Changes I could not keep up with due to not having appropriate BoAs. high enough level character, gold, and so forth. As a result most of my toons in the various XP Off brackets ranging from level 19 to level 85 received little play time. This did not pose that significant of an issue since Patch 5.4 also murdered just about every low to mid level XP Off bracket. Fortunately, level 19, level 29, and level 39 all experienced a resurgence. Wow Level 19 Shaman Guide found its way back to games 7 days a week, Level 29 played Sunday nights for several months, and 39s have pops every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. (full schedule of XP Off games and when the brackets pop)
As the brackets started picking up steam so did the demands of my work.Consequently, my toons still lay in that partially neglected corner of my Warcraft World. I had decided that once the Holiday season ended certain toons would pack their bags and help out some of the stranded ones. Not too long after coming to this realization something amazing happened. And that something amazing came in the form of Patch 5.4.2. Otherwise known as the patch when Blizzard discovered Websters Dictionary and that the world Account means something very different then Realm. It is something every good tinker knows: where they were when the news hit. Much like the moon landing before, this was a seminal moment in the life of XP Off players worldwide.
Once Patch 5.4.2 went live I hit up the post office, shipped a load of BoAs to my enchanter and BOOM, every enjoys the proper enchants. Well, except the shoulder pads, I still haven't gotten around to the rep grind. Don't you judge me. One thing; however, I found very interesting while going through my 39 Mistweaver Monk had to do with my finger coverings. I heard mention through the vent vine that one could apply a Leatherworking Kit that provides 24 (?!) stamina to gloves, but only a BoE pair. With this knowledge in mind I hit up our friends over at wowhead incorporated to see the available options. I wont ruin the surprise for you, but suffice to say new options are now available. Hit up wowhead, do some research and enjoy a few hundred extra stamina on those gloves.
