  • Make in India’ is the new slogan that millions of Indians across the country are chanting and for good reason too. The Prime Minister has launched a new pet scheme to enable manufacturing in India to prosper in India once again, perhaps giving fair competition to China, one of the world’s biggest mass exporters of consumer durables like pens, pencils, lamps, idols, paints, toys, and other common household items. China’s strength lies in mass production of commodities, which enables it to sell these items at a much lower price than what its competitors can afford. No wonder Chinese items have overshadowed the European, American, Australian and South Asian market, and are making goods affordable even in Sub Saharan Africa.

Unlike China however, India’s strength does not lie in quantity. India has a strong tradition of quality, and that too in information technology and other tertiary fields. The services sector of India is much better than that of China’s and contributes the most in terms of GDP at around 57%. India has heavily invested in better education and spends massively to develop a skilled, English speaking workforce that can provide international level services in newly developed fields. This is in stark contrast to China where most day to day commercial activities are undertaken in the local language and cannot cater to the English speaking global market at all.

It has now become quite common to find a digital media agency Mumbai. In other countries that are struggling to globalise their country and make their citizens more aware of the world, in that respect India has done a fairly good job Metropolitan areas have become a hub for quality services and the relatively cheap rate of the rupee has made it an even more attractive investment destination. A social media agency in Mumbai is now capable of offering almost the same services as one in Adelaide and that too at a lower cost. This does not mean that it is a loss for the Indian company or that employers are paying lower wages—the exchange rate makes dollars more valuable to Indians, and it becomes a win win situation for both parties.

Digital media agency Mumbai often cater to a wide range of nationalities and as such their experience portfolio is often quite diversified. This makes them a much lower risk investment option than other countries like Cameroon where experience is quite low. A Social media agency in Mumbai can hire seasoned professionals the likes of which one cannot find in other areas such as Kolkata, Mysore etc. Therefore, investing in Mumbai companies is a wise decision indeed.

In conclusion one can see the rupee growth rising steadily and closing the USD-INR deficit from 69 to 64 in a matter of a few years. It makes sense to hire a low cost high quality Indian firm in the present period of boom and healthy inflation. As the per capita income starts rising slowly this golden opportunity will begin to close. Therefore, do not tarry, hire an Indian firm and be merry!
