Okay, so spring water tastes great, but occasionally you may fancy a treat or a change. Fortunately, there are some fantastic cocktail ideas that can keep you hydrated and your taste buds intrigued.

Berry Blast:

This fruity cocktail not only tastes fantastic but provides a burst of antioxidants that can give your body a real boost. All you need is the juice of one lime, fresh mint leaves, a handful of your favourite berries and two tablespoons of honey, agave or another liquid sweetener. It is a good idea to go organic with your ingredients to ensure maximum health benefits.

Puree the ingredients together until they are well blended. Fill a tall glass with ice and spoon some of the berry mixture over. Now break open your 15l spring water bottle and top up the glass. Garnish with a little sprig of mint.

Sin Free Pina Colada:

If you are avoiding alcohol, there is no need to miss out on this fruity cocktail. You can recreate the fantastic flavour using two frozen ripe bananas, a cup of fresh pineapple, ½ can of coconut milk and ½ cup of pineapple juice.

Put all the ingredients in your blender and mix until it is creamy and smooth. As the blender is running slowly add between ½ and a full cup of spring water. This will be a matter of personal preference, as some people prefer a thicker cocktail. Pour into four glasses and garnish with fresh pineapple wedges.

Strawberry Watermelon Cooler:

One of the best ways to liven up 15l water cooler bottles is to create a fruity cooler. This one is really easy to prepare and can be easily made in larger quantities for parties. All you need four cups of watermelon cubes and a cup of hulled strawberries with the juice of ½ lime. The secret ingredient to this cooler is two teaspoons of chia seeds.

Blend your strawberries and watermelon with the lime until the mixture is smooth. Strain your mixture through a sieve to remove solids from your juice. Add the chia seeds to your juice and allow it to stand in the refrigerator for at least fifteen minutes. This will allow the chia seeds to swell up. Give the mixture a stir and pour into glasses with a crushed mint leaf and ice and top up with your spring water. If you are making this for an event or party, simply pour in into a punch bowl and float fresh mint leaves on top.
